Boring life stuff-proceed with caution- Art IS coming i promise...

Well apart from a crappy morning and afternoon filled with a Media exam that i got serious writers cramp from in the last 25 minutes and literally couldn't write much which was annoying me to no end.

Despite this i think i average 4 pages for each 40 minute question when it tends to be about....3? for most students. I crammed as much in as i could, but the last section was just painful to write, so we shall see- Hopefully it's not dire!

3 more exams left now- 2 on the 26th and one on the 28th and then im free- thank GOD.

In other news shock of all shocks i got award " BEST DIRECTOR" at last nights Arts awards ceremony at the town hall-AND didn't fall up the stage when i went to collect the award! * does a little dance*.

Then the leavers video me and a friend made for Rich- our lecturer who is leaving at the end of this year to work at a new college as head of department- made Rich cry!, we're just slightly proud about that-

For anyone who doesn't know from previous ramblings- Rich is my awesome gay film and media lecturer, who we all love to bits! Despite the fact he constantly teases me about Orlando (even though he has an Orlando poster up in his flat!). All i can say is- his 2 hour long lecture on SLASH FANFICTION that is believe or not actually relative to our exam on FANDOM will never be forgotten lol...and at the end of the evening he pulled me aside and gave me and enourmous hug and said - "If it was up to me darling you'd of won EVERY FUCKING award,EVERY FUCKING ONE... you're one of the best students i have ever taught." which in turn made me teary!

So all was good- better than i thought it would be actually- except this is the second year i've been beaten to 'Most Outstanding Student' lmfao- Rich said it was because he wasnt allowed to give an award to a student more than once, but i think truely, Patrick deserved it, he did after all come over from Germany to learn Media and Film, and he is an outstanding AS student- I think hes probably at the same level as I am and hes a year younger.

We also had various Artists perform ( bands, drama students, singers) e.t.c in between, and I have to congratulate (although he will never see it) my friends boyfriend Reuban who stood up and gave a Sinatra shaming performance of "MY WAY"- Sung like Sinatra, and the comedy act that went with the serious singing was outstanding- the standing ovation he received at the end was a just reward.

-Thats all for now I just thought I'd post it for memories sakes!!!
