+ Since we're on the subject of differences anyway-- why is Koumyou's hair blond in the OVA but brown in the series? (And for that matter, why do they call Ukoku Sanzo the 'black-haired sanzo'? Are all Sanzos supposed to be brown/blond-haired? Kami-sama was a blonde too.

I was wondering about Komyou's hair too. It was so weird. And I think they call Ukoku the 'black-haired Sanzo' because being a Sanzo is something...pure/holy/whatever and black connotes 'darkness' and shiz. I dunno...
