So I spent my weekend (except for that awesome day at Kobe, thanks Lehua) at the American booth. That's right. Of the 200 Americans at Kansai Gaidai only 1-2% was willing to help. What a diverse American representative we were. Saturday was a Jew, a Chinese, and a Southerner. Sunday was a Hawaiian, Jew, a Chinese. People skipped us for the Canadian booth...gosh darnit. "Oh, look it's America" A sec later. "It's Canada." :( The scale and effort of a school festival here Japan is amazing. I cannot imagine it being able to be done in the US at all.
