(no subject)
I'm about to go to work. Just thought I'd give a quick update.
JapanExpo was awesome and I got a huge flight discount for if I book online anytime in the next year... which is nice.
I saw some unexpected faces at the Expo (Alan and his lil sis :P) which was nice.
Amanda's mum threatened to send me to a Bible Camp to de-gay me... which was hilarious because she really approves of me now and thinks I'm great, but said she doesn't want me to go to hell so when I next come round they are going to attempt to exorcise the gay out of me. Which has me laughing my ass off with Amanda online!
I got this great limited edition book of art by a great artist for free because TokyoPop owns!
Got some super cheap manga which was nice. Got free sushi. Got Pocky. Decided (against my will but Amanda has somehow convinced me) that at the next Expo (in October)... I should get a Pikachu outfit and cosplay so she can lead me around by a lead. :| I know.... so that should be joyous. The idea we had was waaaaay more fun!
The AfterParty was cool, met some awesome people... danced, got drunk, then swapped emails etc. THE STEREOTYPES OF THESE GEEKS ARE TOTALLY TRUE.... at least I'm not that geeky.... admittedly, some were awesome, but most looked like they had never had social interaction with the opposite sex EVER in their lives.... good thing I was there to help out some of the geekiest eh?
Ooooooh, I stole Ty's webcam cos he ordered one then Dan gave him one, so I have a pretty Philips webcam and microphone for all joyous occassions wished!
ALSO! Less than 5 minutes ago.... MY NINJ4 fleece and 3VIL L33T shirts arrived... I am overwhelmed with geeky awesomeness right now! :D Sha-weet!
