A girl I knew from a long time ago added me on Facebook. It's nice connecting from people from long ago and hearing things you never would expect.

ahaha.. Thanks for the add! I don't know why you're one of the few people I remember from my Clermont Elementary School days. Probably because I had a little crush on you :P. And now, you've grown up to be quite beautiful! Hope that's not awkward to say. :3

hi eric! i was glad to see you on here. It's funny you say that (i'm one of the few people u thought of from your Clermont Elementary days) bc that's exactly what I was thinking when I was scrolling through a friends friend list and saw u. i instantly remembered elementary school and learning all the basics. oh how long ago that was :(
one thing i did remember was how serious and smart u always were. i didn't even think u knew anyone else was around u. u always seemed so focused on what u were doing. & yet u had a crush on me, eh? LOL! oh my confidence would've have increased ten fold to know that one of the smartest guys i'd ever met had a crush on me. goofy, awkward me!!! school seemed to be so easy 4 u. 2 me, and my highly active mind, it was sooo unbelieveably hard to stay focused. all i could think of was how i couldn't wait 2 go home & play with my barbie dolls. or make every assignment into a competition. i'd try to beat this person or that person and get my work done first :-p

the irony of this... I'm one of the most self-conscious people I know. I'm overly aware of who is around me and overly concerned with what they are thinking. It appears that the persona I crafted back then was more stable than it is now. I'm slipping.
