when the sky falls down it falls down on your head
One of the things I liked about my job was the fact that I had two other proposal writers/managers assisting me. They'd help keep me in check so I didn't have to worry about every single little variable.
My supervisor put in her 2 weeks a couple weeks ago and her last day was this last Friday. But we at least had the other Eric here still, so I didn't flinch. I knew we could handle it together. The two Erics. It was a team.
He quit today.
So it goes.
Now it's just me. I know I'll be fine, but I'm not looking forward to the next couple months now. Hopefully we will hire some more people but there hasn't been any talk of it yet. The company isn't exactly doing great and this proposal group is completely new for them.
