So here's the dilema...
I'm participate in a program called Global Commute.
Its a night in April when various people in cities throughout there world commute to their downtown and sleep in the streets.
This is done to make people aware that over 40, 000 children between the ages of 5-15 in Northern Uganda travel each night to Gula to escape the possibly being abducted and forced into concription for rebel armies and brain washed to go to war.
The problem is Mayor Dyer wont lift the ban on sleeping downtown to do the event.
So basically, we're at a halt right now.
It sucks because I would like to do the event but I dont think Dyer's gonna lift the ban....
Not sure how things are going to work out...
Deland looks like a good possiblity next weekend.
Sleep is looking like an even better possiblity right now..
