Well, kinda alot has gone on since I last wrote in here...

* Found a verrry cute 1 bdrm apartment that I'll probably be moving into late Feb/early March. (technically its a 2bdrm, but there's no actual living-room, so one room is used for office/living area)
It's right around the corner (literally) from where I am now, in a nice old 2-story building (with I believe 9 units total), and affordable!

I had been toying w/ the idea of finding my own place sans roomates recently, b/c I feel ready (financially & 'personally') & because who doesn't want to completely live on their own eventually? 0k, maybe not everyone, but it's definitely always been a trait I possess. Plus, my roomate smokes inside and I'm allergic to both her cats- two things I definitely cant deal with forever/too much longer.

I know someone who used to live in these, so it all seemed like a sign if you will (or just perfecto timing :) The fact that they've recently re-modeled it, with fresh carpet & light-avacado-green textured walls doesn't hurt either ;)
The landlady is looking over/approving my application and all that (tho everything seems to be in place, theres no reason I shouldn't get it) but, keep your fingers crossed for me!!

* On that note, Christmas & New Years were filled with bunches of good times! I didn't make any traditional resolutions, BUT I thought of a few things the other day that I do want to work on, so what better time than now?

My Non-New Years resolutions:
· Save any & all $$$ not going towards bills in the bank. (and file taxes soon, in order to have the money to move)
· Keep up the good posture
· Go on (more) bike adventures

I got a bunch of neat-0 presents, but the icing on the cake is the bike my dad bought me!
I felt like a kid again, asking for a bicycle for Christmas. Yet this time it wasn't a cotton-candy pink one w/ streamers on the handle-bars (back in the day when I was young, I'm not a kid anymore ;)
I rode it home from the shop and it brought back so many memories to just be out & about... I ♥ bikes!
Tho I may put more knobby mountain-bike style tires on it, b/c I dont really like the thinner multi-purpose ones it has now.

* My brothers in town until next Wed. so I'm hanging out with him as much as possible. We've had a blast so far!! Lots & lots of fun has ensued, indeeed...

Been working alot since we had a long-weekend two weeks in a row...

But I have tons of pics to post from my Holidaze, just you wait!

bro visiting, moving, holidaze
