Tonight a glimpse of my version of perfection occurred. Meghan called and said she was coming over. I spent 45 min looking forward to seeing her and looking at bands online. She arrived with a hug and a kiss. We made dinner together. Tips on the grill, a light salad and some corn. Ate it out on the deck where the weather was beautiful. Not too cold, not too warm, just right. Meghan told me stories about her day at camp and her children. Then we went inside and watched Salem's Lot while cuddling in bed. Meghan commented on how it was inaccurate (she's so smart, who remembers the small details of books they read years upon years ago?) and I made us tea. We took a break to look up a few facts about and breeds of dogs, snacked on some chocolate that magically appeared on my bed a few weeks ago. Meghan had to go so we searched for her glasses which I had hid to keep her with me (not really but I can't say I was upset we couldn't find them for a bit) I walked her to her car and told her how much I loved her, she's the most beautiful girl I've ever known and ever will know. My mom laughed at me when I came in and had a big grin on my face due to the pure and simple fact that I'm in love. I spent the 45 min I wait until I get her call of home safe playing catch with the dog. My mom threw and I took pictures of Jenny playing as though she were a decade younger. Meghan called saying she was home safe and we briefly spoke of grizzly vaginas, our love for one another and the proper usage of a vaporizor. We told one another to have a goodnight and sweetdreams and that I'd call tomorrow after work. My mom heated up the heating pad for me and laid down on it to finish the discovery show on grizzly's and think of how wonderful my life is. I made this entry and it's time for lights out. Although I'm sure I missed important details such as how Meghan poked me playfully as I went to get the bowls for salad or the way my dad and Meghan said goodbye to one another in a peculiar playful funny way that contains the reason I love them both so much, I think you get the point. Tonight was fantastic amazing and almost perfect...to end a cheesy lj entry on a cheesy note... I've got a wonderful girlfriend, I've got a wonderful family and I've got a wonderful life. Life is good.
