Holy crap!

Dec 12, 2004 21:04

Wow... it's been a LONG friggen time since i've been on this site. I totally forgot this account even existed. I'll update whoever is bored enough to be here on my progress in life.

1) I bought my new car I wanted.

2) I got layed off from my job... stupid automotive job market. (HAHA!! So glad I bought that car..)

3) I am logically going to start working for a company which will actually pay me more.

4) I am now certified in CPR, AED Defibulators, and first response procedures. My certifications came directly through the Red Cross (my instructors loved my comments on the dummys we got to more or less violate every day.) I am strangely proud of such a trivial accomplishment. A few weeks later I was certified in fire training. Woo Dub.

5) 2 of my friends are moving back up here from Florida.... i'm excited.

6) I am moving to Southfield, or Holly, MI very soon with one of my friends. Just us. Finally out from under the wing. Your invited. I done grew up! haha! But as such I have to sell my car, it costs me $278 for insurance every month. And I'd rather spend that on stuff for the apartment. It's an '01 Mustang in case anyone stumbles across this... it's a 5 speed.. black.. 2 tone interior... 2 12" Subs, Exhaust straight from Saleen...mp3 player... SOMEONE BUY IT!

7) I am in 3 bands right now: "As Day Breaks" - "The Dolce Far" (my fave.) - and "Seats to the Wind", which is, as always, my acoustic endeavors.... although.. in the course of recording i've come to have quite a few helping hands. I'm growing with music again finally and I feel myself binding deeper in myself... or maybe it's that egg salad sandwhich I ate earlier..

8) I got asked (and accepted), to play as the opening band for 80's Metal Band "Nazareth" on January 6th 2005, LOL, yeah... my mom's even heard of em... oh god... it'll be good for a laugh cause I told them i'd play more of my heavy stuff... but instead it's gonna be me and Chad with bongos and acoustic... maybe some keyboard (i'm into it lately.)

9) I met a girl who was the first to catch my attention in a LONG time. She hit me with a pretty stick.

10) I came to hard realizations over the course of the past few month. And I came out of it in better spirits than I ever have. So once I get everything done that I want to get done... man i'm excited for the future for the first time in my life.

11) Salvia beat me (or rather spun me) to my knees (dang near literally) 2 times in a row. Humbling. But still good times and worthy experience.

12) I tasted success and I want more.

13) I tasted Poppa Vinos and I want more.

14) The friends I have are good people. And I love you all. And I let you all know it via large phone bill last night. Special apologies to Mikey M. because I called him like 3 times... while he was with his girl.. he was laughing harder than me though so it's cool... I didn't know what was going on. (and no I was not drinking. I sorta gave that up when I started at Faurecia... and with the new job starting... no chances.)

15) I played without my G-string (on my guitar!) for so long now without replacing it that when I played my song "Newish" for a small crowd in NY, It kept getting in the way... so i've decided to never use it again... (but thats probably a lie.)

16) Lastly, me and my friends more or less run Open Mic night at a coffee shop by my house... it's on Tuesdays at 7:00+ we're always playing/laughing/getting hyped on caffeine (lookin at you Eric.)/playing chess/playing checkers (cause we're old men.) so lemme know if you want directions. (nobody reads this thing... why? Because I don't give out the address... because I didn't even know it freaking still existed... and I will probably forget again about 3 seconds from riiiiight.. now.) I am gonna try to get the day moved to Wednsday soon though... so watch out.
