The world is a crazed place

The world isnt like it used to be, it used to be that if someone died it was because of a natural cause, a heart attack, a stroke, or something like that. Now there are ppl dying left and right for no reason at all and no one seems to really notice! You hear about it EVERY-SINGLE-DAY! this person died from a gun shot to the head because he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, a cab driver's throat was slashed by teenagers when a robbery goes wrong. It only really hits you when someone close to you passes away. A friend of mine died a few weeks ago -as many of you may know- I did not know him extrememly well, but the death still affected me. As it did almost every single person in my school. It was definately not their time to go at all. Cameron was only 16 years old and Jimmy 18 for christ sake! Yes they did make some stupid decisions, drinking, knowing that they were drunk, and still driving, Jimmy letting Cam drive his mom's car when he didnt have his full lisence, but it doesnt matter! Their lives should not have ended like this. No one deserves to pass like that, no one. I know that it has been a few weeks since they have passed away, but i think it is only REALLY started to hit me now, ive been so pre-occupied with my own situations that I didnt give myself time to grieve! its impossible to know how his bestfriends feel, when i barely knew him, but I pray for them to recover from this tragedy with grace.
