That's my daughter in the water

OK, so this is how it goes:

9/21-Monday

I was a week over due, so we had to get things going. Madelyn was so stubborn and wouldn't come out on her own, so we induced labor at 5pm

I labored for 16 hours.
:] I was dropping f-bombs every ten seconds until they gave me my epidural. The rest is pretty much a dream to me.

9/22-Tuesday
I pushed for an hour.
At 9:37am, Madelyn was born.

8 pounds
2.5 ounces
19.5 inches
<3
I cried while they cleaned her up. I didn't know what else to do, I had so much emotion and I felt so happyexcitedproud all at once.

I got to hold her and I lost my mind. I couldn't stop crying. She was so beautiful and perfect.

I looked into her eyes, and I just knew she was the best thing that I've ever done.
After a while they had to take her away. I was really sad but I was also very tired.

Unfortunately, she had inhaled a lot of fluid so she had to go to the NICU
She perked up though, our little trooper.
And I got to breast feed her when she was hungry.

she loves daddy <3
9/24-Thursday
I got to come home, but Maddie had to stay. I cried the whole drive home. I felt awful to have to leave her.
9/25-Friday
MADDIE CAME HOME!

And now for my own enjoyment, a dump of pictures :]
