Today has been quite a day. I went to work, it was boring as usual. Something happened though that I was not expecting at all.
At my graduation party, my uncle was talking about this guy he knew in NYC who's a big time photographer. He had been trying to get a hold of him to talk to him about me and if he could help me out at all, because I need a job. Well he got a hold of him. I now have the phone number for his studio and need to call him in a few days. My mom said that I need to talk to him about what kind of work I want to do and all that stuff, and find out if he can help me out at all.
Oh my god.. how exciting is that?! Seriously, this guy has taken pictures of live bands, sports, celebrities, as well as photographs for publications like Time Magazine. When I call him, I have to tell whoever answers the phone that my uncle referenced me, just so that I can talk to the guy. Otherwise, he doesn't talk to anyone.
