(no subject)
well my trip to the river was interesting... to say the least....
our first trip out on our boat didnt last too long. we were driving downriver and we hit rocks, so we completely screwed up the boat. it wouldnt start. and there wasnt anyone out there on the river! the boat wouldnt start at all, so my whole family had to get out of the boat and push it for about 10 miles down the river. finally, before we hit a bridge, some people came down river from our campground, and used their boat to tow us back to camp. that took sooo long, i think it took like 2 hours. i was just soo happy my family and i were okay, well except that i ruined my pedicure..
our solution to our broken boat was to go into town to get it fixed, but then we figured out that it would take a few weeks. so, the parentals decided to go look at sea-doos. when they came back, they had bought a brand new 2004 waverunner!! its really pretty, its red and black! and i can drive it! woo woo!
we also saw sooo many snakes out there, it was soo gross. we saw like 4 rattlers, and then 3 other kinds. i think im permanately afraid of snakes now. especially since i almost stepped on one. eww they are so gross!
the rest of the trip was much more mellow than the beginning. molly came out on szaturday morning, so i got to hang out with her for the weekend. we went tubing alot, so that was fun. other than that, me, molls, one of her friends, and her cousins just hung out!
