(no subject)
i havent seen the sun in so long. i think im getting scurvy, or whatever disease you get from not seeing the sun.
Good new guys, Im a real Rhode Islander! I went quahoggin' and made chowda all while drinking gansetts. and it was wicked awesome! translation: i dug for quahogs (clams) in narragasett bay, and drank narragansett beer, and made new england clam chowder, and it was super fun. i might go quahogging again on thursday too. I dont want to leave rhode island. its lovely here. im sad.
I applied for a job in california! and i got turned down. bummer.
its senior week and so far its miserable due to the rain. but tonite is foxwoods that should be fun.
I had a heart to heart with my teacher concerning grad school. he said he would like to see me go out west, or to the south west, or mid west. basically any place far away....and also the university of alaska at fairbanks. imagine that....me in alaska. im always cold. i dont know if thats a good idea. so i have to start looking into what projects i want to do and who will have grant money for me and what not. but he said i should try to go to a good school, like cornell or duke or something. that would be weird. i kinda just want to stay at URI and go back to Costa Rica for a masters project, or even greece to work on mountain goats. that would be pretty neat also. I dont know what to do!!! but the whole finding a job and taking a couple years off is looking more and more like a horrible idea, seeing as i cant find a job. i wish someone would tell me what to do, that would be swell.
