I am excited. For Valentines Day, I am cooking John a nice Korean dinner -- Jja Jang Myun. He said it is his favorite. He doesn't know I will be making it, at least not yet. I can't wait to go to the Asian market to pick up the ingredients. I just hope it won't cost too much. Today, I wrote out the recipe by watching
Maangchi make it on Youtube and then I wrote all I need to get and printed out small pictures of the specific Korean black bean paste and Jja Jang noodles I need to get. For some reason, I am entranced by cooking Korean food right now. I mean, if you watch the lady I linked you to above, it is very interesting. I really want to learn how to cook too, not just American food but food from everywhere. It is so fascinating!
I wanted to also make rice cakes with red bean paste but I don't know if I can afford to or do it with the recipes I have read over. We will see.
I have been procrastinating a lot with school work. I think I have created a hard time for myself next week. I'm an idiot sometimes.
Thanks to a conversation with my friend Justin, I have revisited my love for Across the Universe and its soundtrack. I could sing to it all day and never get tired of it. :]
