i am being a bum and i love it. it's pretty much all i've done this break, but it's alright, i know i'll be working my little rear end off next semester, between 16 credits, jazz band, being an officer in 3 clubs, and possibly getting a job. so yea, it'll be interesting. plus we're going to be apartment shopping, and then moving, and i'm still contemplating joining the improv troupe on campus (or trying out anyway) so it should be fun. let's just hope we can pull off another 4.0! so yeah me and coco are just hanging out right now, she's chewing her bone and i'm downloading lots of fun stuff from mr. christopher mcshane. i have a comfy bed and a few good books with some good music, i'm set for the night.
break has been pretty good thus far, and alas it is almost over. christmas was great, i got so many books, fraggle rock scooby doo and the muppets on dvd, and lots of clothes. i was certaintly spoiled this year. new years was okay, pete and maura came up and then we went to mikes later on and pretty much had a low key night. fun stuff. i can't believe it's 2006 already. i know this is a little late, considering we're 2 weeks in, but oh well. i'm behind on the times as usual. i turn 20 in a few shorts months...crazy. and my baby brudder is gonna be 18..yikes. plus he graduates this year, and cousin grace is getting married...lots of stuff happening this year. but on to the break recap!
on new year's day maura and i took the train upstate to meet up with her family, i met all of her aunts and uncles and cousins, i did pretty well with names considering there were so many of them! so that was fun. they're cool people. (obviously, if they're related to maura hahahah) so the next day we did the approx. 12-13 hour or so drive back to michigan, not bad, i slept and read and then maura and i watched some family guy on her laptop. so we got back and relaxed. the week was fantastic, i was so glad i went. she worked in the afternoons so her mommy took me to the kalamazoo art institute and the museum and stuff one day and then to lunch, and then the next day she drove me out to lake michigan since i had never been there. so that was awesome, her mommy is supercool. i fiiiinally got to meet becky, she's awesome and i love her. we watched a whole bunch of saturday night live best ofs, with maura too, and she kept me company a couple of times when maura worked. maura and i finally finished season 6 of sex of the city, it was sooo good i cried i loved it so much it was so perfect =) so yea maura's family is awesome and michigan is a pretty sweet place to visit. i also bought like 10, 12 books from the used bookstore in her library, awesome. i took the train ride home, it was like 18 hours but not too bad, i slept and read a bunch.
so hmmm that's pretty much it, been hanging out with jen john and jay lately of course, fun times. we're going to montaulk on friday, just for fun. so that's cool. and i go back to school in another week and a half, yay. so today mommy and i went to see wicked, it was sooo good. she got me orchestra tickets for christmas and i had so much fun. it was so good, plus we went to the stardust diner for lunch which is always awesome. yay for mommy days<3.
so yeah that's about it. i want to finish jane eyre before we get back to school so i can give it back to katie. that's all for now. bye!!
