(no subject)
Well! Alton Towers has been and gone.. :( I wish It was still to come! It was something to look forward to and now theres nothing but work!:( Gutted!
Anyway, Friday met up with Craig, and Stary and headed to the train, which i might say, took its blooming time! So therefore we were late in getting in to meet Vix and Suz, but hey, the bus hadn't arrived at that point, so it was ok.. We met them, and then got on the bus to alton towers. was quite a laid back trip. Watched a few cool movies.. FAT ALBERT! Starring KENNAN! Awesome film. The odd bit of chatter, and magazine reading, and services stops, and then we got to our hotel... IT was LOVELY.. Very nice hotel indeed. I was in a room on my own, Suz was with Vix (who actually got my room with the one bed!) and, Craig was with Stary. Was quite funny the location of the hotel.. Right across the road from the BET365 HQ, where i play poker :-P lol..So yeah, we all settled in, and Craig and Stary decided to go a wander to see what they could find, I however was shattered, and along with vix and suz, just stayed in the hotel to chill after a long journey. and that was the first night.
Saturday was fun! We got up early, headed to brekkies, tucked in, and suz smuggled some fruit out. We then got on the bus and headed to the park! And it was great! Me, Craig and Stary went on oblivion first.. Was awesome.. Then met up with the girls at Rita. Now that was a damn good ride too... as the day went on we went on various other rides. Best of all was Air, that me stary and Suz went on. was such an awesome ride. a ride that would be repeated the next day. But anyway, Vix wasn't feeling up to much, i felt really sorry for her:( .. We took it easy for the remainder of the day, and then went back to the bus. That night, the dinner was lovely, nice carvery dinner. Then, along with Craig and Stary, (Despite me feeling terrible from the Tea Cups!!!!) went to the cinema, then a wander about town. Then came back. The girls had fell asleep so, all that was left was to go to my slumber and await the next day.
Sunday, such a fun day!!! We were mean to get a full day in the park, but a lesbian told the driver she didnt want a full day and volunteered the bus to go early. Lovely. Anyway, Vix, having thought about yesterday, got a wheelchair, which, unbeknown to us, meant a benefit! We all got wristbands which saw us on rides like, straight away! we got through the exits and, rather than wait, they just stuck us on the next available carraige! hehe! Thanks vix ;) but, yeah, we all did Air twice, i love that ride, and I think that is the same for Stary, Suz and Vix who also went on. Nemesis was also great (I've ridden that before tho). We also went on Rita again, which was fun.. Vix the lucky thing got to go on twice, cos we were only allowed "two" at a time with the wristbands.. heh.. Lucky her! Again, we just chilled once we did what we wanted to do (Squeezed in loads of biggies, like Air, Nemsis, Rita, etc) and then headed to the early departing bus:( (Thanks Lesbians!!!:(). We then got transported home...
got to the concert hall, and got dropped off, said our goodbyes, and then went our seperate ways. Craig, stary and I got the train, which went in the total wrong direction.. I was like to stary "err.. I don't recognise these factories".. and he looked at me and then went "Neither do i....", craig insisted it was the right way, but we were adamant.. So I marched up to the conductors cabin, and knocked the door and said "Am i right in thinking we're going the wrong way" he says yes.. lol.. Next thing, driver comes down, turns the train round and takes us up the right route. Was wierd how it worked out. couldnt figure how it got from one direction to the other.. had to be there i guess to realise the perplexedness. Eventually got home, was knackered and have a fairly earlyish night.
Was great spending time away with Suz, granted we didnt get much alone time, but it was nice to spend time away with her! Love her loads!!
Monday i wasn't feeling too well after lunch, so that led to be having a lazy day off work on tuesday... I went into work, told them i wasn't well, and they let me go.. Today, i felt a bit better, but still not to good, thankfully the shift went really quicklty, came home, chilled, and jsut started watching telly and chatting, and updating this.. taking me to now..
Not much planned for the week ahead as yet.. Hope to see suz at some point...Take it as it comes...
Special RIP goes out to Suzy's fish, who unfortunately passed away on the weekend we were away.. You'll be sorely missed:(
