bridal shower/ bachlorette party...
so this past saturday was my bridal shower and bachlorette party. it was so much fun! the shower was at marvene's house (jenny's mom) all the bridemaids were there: holle, jenny, amanda and tracy, my mom, my soon to be mother in law- faye, paulann, marvene, my aunt sally, my cousin kelly, cordie, pam & carly coen, lou, kirsten, sarah & her daughter, carol, and a few other i know i am forgetting. it was hawaiian theme for our honeymoon. so cute. there was tiki and tropical stuff everywhere. there was a ton of good food, cake, and punch. ray and i got a ton of nice gifts. everyone was so nice and i had a great time. they played some funny games and we laughed a lot.
the bachlorette party was fun as well. it was just me and the bridesmaids so it was really intimate and nice. we got back to jenny's and they made me wear these devil horns with a viel. it was cute. i also had to wear a bachlorette sash and blinking "bride to be" button. it was hilarious. they we were off to chuys and had a really nice dinner. after that we went for drinks at taco milagro and sat out on the patio. it was really nice there. then they all got my lingire gifts. they are all beautiful and ray will be in for a nice surpise over our honeymoon :) after that we all headed home.
then on sunday we all met up at la madeline for the bridesmaid luncheon. i took everyone to lunch and gave them all their thank you gifts - silver jewlery engraved boxes and a necklace and earring set to wear on the day of the wedding. i think they all liked it. we all had a nice time, and the food was excellent.
overall it was a really nice weekend and i had alot of fun. 10 days to the wedding. time is flying!
