Gust-nado: When Wall Clouds Attack

this weekend was pretty good. I went home over the weekend and garage sale-ed it up friday afternoon and saturday morning, with the help of the illustrious mr. obyrne on friday. he was very kind to come down to see me, as no one else around rochester really cared that i was going home. Came back saturday afternoon and spent the remainder of the day with drew, since party times and the threat of a large test hindered him from coming back with me. it was an incredible time hanging out with him, as usual. we rode the bus to the mall of america, and got bearings for his rollerblades, then walked back all the way from nicollet. which is like 2-3 miles. i even was brave enough to rollerblade for the first time in 3 years, just because andrew was with me. i dont know how to brake in rollerblades. i get too scared that i am going to fall over and hurt myself, and then i tense up and cannot brake anymore. and rollerblading like that in minneapolis didnt seem like the safest thing to do, but andrew was with, and he makes me feel safe, so i went. my body's complaining a tiny bit about it today though :) and then i got to see tim! which was fun. we all(me, drew, tim, collin, c, dave) all threw the frisbee around for a while. that was a good time as well.

Today was church, and i made bad coffee by mistake :( i dont like when i mess up food, especially food for other people. ususally i can make pretty food, but sometimes you just dont have a good food day. i forgot myself and made the ratio of coffee to water 5 scoops to about 1 cup of water, instead of the other way around... it was almost expresso, and it was nasty, to say the least. i must have been thinking about something else while i was making coffee. at least i tasted it before i got out the door.

After church, drew didnt want to go to lunch because he had work and stuff to do, so christine and i went to famous daves! and then shopping! and i got flip flops and a swimsuit. and christine got socks and a belt for dave.

And now im avoiding writing my paper for tomorrow morning. what else is new. i might as well carry on with my awesome grades this semester. i am trying to bring them up, but a "b" looks like the highest realistic goal.

It was thunderstorming out earlier tonight. and now the sky is yellow.
