i type this one handedly with a 6 month old baby drew on my knee. luckily, he is fascinated by the typing. his 2 year old sister is still napping upstairs. drew just spit up some oatmeal and squash onto my knee, yum yum. good thing i was planning on laundry today anyway. time to put him in the middle of some pillows so he can occupy himself.
ok, sweet. definetly a different life from school down here. wake up at like 8 am, go to sleep at 10, its odd. both the kids like me though, so thats good. days are filled with naps, eating, pooping, stroller rides and more naps. (thats for the kids, not for me.) i start my tennis job on the 13th of june, and that will get me out of the house in the evenings, but so far its been a somewhat lonely week. i miss the big andrew! no one to understand my sarcasm and jokes, no one to make me laugh, no frisbee throwing and yes, its somewhat odd to have baby drew and big drew. hehe but in some ways they are alike.
i have my own room, and it is great. living in one room with three people is insane. no one has any space. this room is really tiny, but it has enough space for me and my stuff, and its super. going back to roomates and school life will suck in some ways.
chicago area is way cool as always, i have a great incentive to go biking 2 miles... it is the lake! yes, i love large bodies of water. there's a terrific beach too, so we can pack up the kiddies and go down sometime.
having lots of little kids around is different. i babysit for twins across the street too, they are SUPER loud. geez. super super loud. but they are cool, and so is their mom.
well, drew needs something time for me to go.
