Haha, I don't even know why I'm so invested in American Idol right now. It's so ridiculous and America is stupid when it comes to music, and I'm probably not going to care about most of these people in a couple months, but I don't care and I love it anyways. It's brought me Adam Lambert, so who knows, more good people might come out of it!
A couple of the guys, I can genuinely see being amazing both on Idol and after it. Casey Abrams is so amazing.
He performs and he is so good, and sexy, and I'm like DAMN, he's only 19? He has such stage presence, and I love him. And then, when he's not performing, he is the sweetest, most adorable guy ever. I want to be his best friend. He's always so nice, and comforting everyone, and seems exactly his age. I love him to pieces.
I also really love Paul. He's so quirky and cool, and I could see myself actually liking and listening to his music. It doesn't hurt that he had a band before Idol, and their music is quite good. So glad he seems to be doing really well so far. His and Kendra's duet last week was BEAUTIFUL!
And what the hell, she was FANTASTIC this week, and got cut. This is why I try not to get invested in this show, judges and America are both so stupid sometimes.
Dunno if there's anyone else I care too much about at this point. I mean, I like to get super into EVERYTHING, so while I'm watching I'm like "THEY ARE THE BEST EVER, I WILL DIE IF THEY LEAVE, I WILL LOVE THEM FOREVER", but not gonna lie, the only people I'm really gonna miss are Kendra and Brett. Because Brett is the most adorable person I have ever seen and I want to cuddle him forever. He's what? A year younger than me, and yet he seems so young and precious. He sang an original song in Hollywood week about being strong against bullies and whatnot and I wanted to hug him forever. I will miss him with a passion.
Haha, that's it I guess. I feel like a big part of the reason I'm so into it lately is ontd_ai. I love everyone there and how easy it's been to start interacting. Ngl, that and doctoreleven are probably my two favorite places on the internet. I've been feeling so lonely lately, and they've made it so much better and it's been so nice to just be able to talk to people, even if it's online, especially since I feel like I haven't been able to with many of my friends lately.
