college bound
I GOT INTO NOTRE DAME DE NAMUR!!! haha... everybody's always like ... 'where the hell is that?!'. well, it's in belmont which is like 35 minutes north, but it'd take you like an hour and a half to get there since well.. ur traveling up north. but yeah. its a private college... small family like with a beautiful campus. mr.d went there so he's all proud of me that I got in. haha. YES! I got into ALL the colleges that I applied to! that makes me feel uber good... and something to show my dad like hey... im good enough to get into all these school, so please let me go where i want to go. i probably wont get to go to Dominican though cause we cant afford it and my dad is like.. against taking out a loan. NDNU is private so that means its $$$ too.. but a girl can hope right? I just feel really...ticked sometimes because its like my dad and mom are trying to talk me into sonoma state just because its cheaper, and my tuition will be paid for with my dad's state employee thingy. yea thats cool and all, but I dont think thats really fair to me. if they really wanted me to go to a good school, they wouldve started saving money for me the day I was born. it just sucks. but i can only hope for the best. eh. its kinda funny how someone other than your own parents get more excited about you getting into college. My boss bought me a cake cause she was so proud of me. my mom and dad are just like 'oh.. thats good.. but we need to check financial aid.. blah blah blah. yeah i know we do, but can't you at least be excited with me for a moment? maybe my parents dont really understand what its like because they never really went to 'college'. eh. whatever. im proud of myself and i guess thats all that matters.
