whooo hoo!!!!
It's all good in the hood! Yesterday was my last day of work well... before christmas at least. I have like a 5 day vacation. So we all exchanged gifts. I got the kids teddy bears from build-a-bear that has a voice box with my voice in it. And then I got them cute warm winter outfits. I got Linda this cool cupcake holder (cause she loves baking cupcakes) and cupcake mix and frosting to go with it. And I got Scott a cool plane calendar (cause he's a pilot) and some pocket/hand warmers cause he's always complaining its cold. Their heater is broken in the house right now cause they're building on to it. It's gonna be friggin awesome! The kids playroom is going to have a mini rock climbing wall, a rope that goes upto the ceiling for them to climb up, a white board, desks with a fack load of arts and crafts stuff...man it's gonna be like every kids dream room. haha. anyways, so they all enjoyed their gifts. the kids really enjoyed trying to rip the paper, and then eating it. I put a bow on Olivia's head...she looked all confused...it was so cute! Sothe kids got me post-it notes....something I use like..everyday. And then Scott and Linda gave me $100 to put towards my guitar.... I was telling them about it. And how it's now gone. But it's all good cause theres probably something better out there waiting for me. And before I was leaving, I was racking up my hours to get my paycheck, and then Linda had said 'oh yeah briana, by the way, after the new year starts, we're bumping you up to $10 an hour. you've come a long way and you deserve it.' eek!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was hecka shocked! I love my job! No taxes taken away, always paid in fresh crisp twentys cash... sweet. gah. im so excited for christmas and the new year. hope everyone's having a good holiday season so far! woot!
