whee! this thanksgiving vacation was fackin awesome! thanksgiving day was cool. ym adopted grandparents came over and greg also spent thanksgiving with me and the family. his parents went to tahoe, and we originally would have gone, but got a job at toys r us and had to stay here for work. so the day after thanksgiving (aka black friday) was a blast. I woke my mom up around 415am and we got dressed and ready and were out the door by 445am. We headed over to Eastridge. holy crap! the line for circuit city was unbelieveable! it went in front of the door, around the front, around the side, and then into the gas station! it wasn't even 5am yet! crazyness! there was even a line for JCpennys, but my mom and I just sat in the car and stayed warm. the doors opened and we went in and got what we needed. then we decided to head over to oakridge. We waited for Macy's to open at 6am. They didn't have what we needed, so we went to target. I got what I needed (I cant list presents here... people might be nosy!) and in target, there was this huse ass line for what I have no idea. So I asked the lady if this was the line to pay and she was like 'I dont know. I hope so!' and I was like thats f-in ridiculous. So my mom and I headed towards the front and went into the express lane. I saw a guy telling people where to go which is probably why there was a huge long line. So I think my mom and I might have cut but no one said anything and the cahsier said she'd help us. So we got in and got out. Shopped around... got HELLA good deals and everything. Like in charlotte russe, they gave you a bag and anything you put in it, you would get 25% off that whole bag. So my mom let me pick out a few things, but I have to wait until christmas to get them. egh. We finished up by noon I think.
Saturday was another awsome day. My mom and I went with her friend Becky to Valley Fair. We got there around 9am, and surprisingly, it wasn't that crowded. We got breakfast, and I got some good deals in aeropostale. Then we all went to Macy's cause thats what we really went for. My mom saw this awesome asian themed christmas tree. Like it had to go boxes that were ornaments, chinese lions (but people call them dragons..the ones that dance around on new years aka Lion Dances) and other really cool asian related ornatments. I went down into the juniors dress area and OMG! I was in heaven!!! I was looking for a dress for Winter Ball.. something christmasy. Or at least red. Didnt find much until I checked the on sale racks. I love the on sale racks. I found this cute dress that's all black satin ecept at top (where it covers your boobs) its red satin with black lace over it. That was $40. And then I found an all black halter top dress that had lace on the ribs (under the boob area) that was tan with black lace over it! That was $20 and It totallllly matched a pair of high heels that I bought from Payless. They're friggin adorable! And then I passed by these purple dresses that said they were 50% off. But the purple one I really liked was put back in the wrong spot. So when I price checked it, it said it was $88 on sale for $78. So I said aw... it's not really worth it. And then I looked for it's original rack. By that time,my mom and Becky were there with me and fell in love with the purple dress to. So I found the original rack and the rack had said 25% off and take an additional 25% off! So that's 50% off!!!!! so we asked the lady why the machine came up wrong and she said that the cash register said the same thing. And Becky fighted for me and said that the sign says 50% off so they have to honor it cause its the law or something like that. So the lady told us to just tell the cashier that its 50% off and to point to the sign. So the guy was awesome and gave me 50% the dress! So I got 3 dresses for $100!!!! ah. I love Macys.
oh yeah, and today, my mom and i went to target again. and we were looking at boardgames. and this other lady comes along and is looking at board games too. so I pick up this one board game and start getting over excited about it with my mom talking to her about it. and then my mom was like oh! that would be a good game for my dad too! so there were only two games left. one was in my cart. and i turned around to grab the other one when I couldnt find it anywhere and realize... oh, it's in the other lady's hand. so I figured oh, she won't get it... she's just looking at it. well, next thing I know, it's in her cart. and my mom and I figured... okay, whatever, she'll probably put it back later. so we looked at other board games while the same lady was still there. i picked up disney scene it dvd game (the plus pack to the original board game that I got last year. ) And I got over excited about that and talked to my mom about that one. And then what do you know? the same damn lady picked up the dvd pack and started looking at it. so since she was seriously irritating me, I decided I would start to have some fun. I stood there for a second looking at her from the corner of my eye, and I could tell she was waiting for me to pick up another board game. So all of the sudden, I start touching just about EVERY single board game on the shelf and saying 'OMG! I liked this one when I was a kid! Oh mom! Do you remember this one? Oh mom! this one is about shopping! Monopoly even though everyone already has it and takes forever to finish! I love it! So this lady started getting all worried like 'omg, i cant pick up everything she just touched!'. HAHA! And then I turned to mom and she was just laughing at me... so i was like okay, im done with fun. And so my mom and I walked down this toddler isle to look for a toy for my neighbor. And guess what? yes. you guessed it. the SAME damn lady walked down the exact same isle and started looking at all the toys I started to look at. So Iwas like holy shit! forget it! mom, let's just get out of here! so we paid and got the hell out of there. I mean come on lady... if you were shopping for someone my age, or wanted some help, just ask! I would have more than loved to help. eeemeegah! I mean I remember when I was younger and my mom and I would shop in Pennys or mervyns and ladys would come up to me and ask 'can I hold this outfit up to you? I shopping for a girl that's about your size/age want to see if it will fit.' and I would totally help her out. I mean the ladys wouldnt run around the store and try to chase me with the outfit to see if it would fit someone my size. lol. that'd be funny... but freaky. so yeah, anyways, then my mom and i talked about where we were going afterwards (eastridge). So we go there, and park and start walking towards the entrance. we were at the entrance where we could either enter the mall, barnes and noble, or bed bath and beyond. My mom wanted to go into BB&B so we started walking in that direction when all the sudden.... yes you guess it. the SAME DAMN LADY had walked into the BB&B entrance. okay... maybe coincident, but man... it just irritated me that much more. and then my mom was like 'briana, isn't that the...' and I was like yeah.screw BB&B let's just go to macys. and lucky us, the lady didn't follow us anywhere else or buy anything i wanted to buy. haha. crazy ass.
mm yeah. so that was my shopping extravaganza! woot! now im all done christmas shopping! but that kind of saddens me because I have to save up my money now for after christmas deals! hehe.hope everyone had a good thanksgiving!!!
