Selling my 87 MR2

Sep 06, 2007 21:43

I bought this car in April and I really shouldn't have, I needed a truck or a car with some trunk space, so I'd be willing to trade for bigger car or a smaller truck (ranger/s10)

Since I've had it in April I've replaced:

Spark Plugs, Distributor/Button and the front speakers with Kicker DS400. I also added a roll bar in that time (I removed the rear speakers because of this, I planned on adding 2 6x9 in boxes behind the seat to be powered by an amp and you'd have to remove the roll bar to replace them [they're 3.5" speakers and I didn't feel like they would really do much being replaced anyways]) When I got the car it had a non working Sony CD player in it, and it was replaced with an older Pioneer that came out of my girlfriend's car when she upgraded hers.

Last month I had the Water Pump Replaced and while the timing cover was off I went ahead and had that done as well (even though it was still in pretty decent shape) as well as the water pump belt.

When I bought the car it had a Momo wheel and a K&N filter on it as well, other then that the car is stock. The interior is blue and isn't in the best of shape, however for a 20 year old car, its not as bad as it could be. The dash does have a couple of cracks in it, the car would be perfect to strip down for autocrossing. Car does have some rust over the rear quarters as well as some door dings as well as a ding in the driver side a little bigger then a door ding. Rear bumper also isn't in the best of shape but its still as secure as it ever was. Car leaks a little oil, however not nearly as much as when I got it, I've replaced both valve cover gaskets and that seemed to take care of the bulk of the problem.

I daily drive this car and thats all I do with it. When I got it I was hoping to do some autocrossing (which is why I installed the roll bar) I just need something a little bit bigger which is why I'd be just as happy to take a trade as I would get cash for it. The lowest Gas mileage I've ever got out of it was 30mpg and its hit 35mpg a time or 2.

I'd likle $1200 out of it. The Car has Falken Zeix tires on it that have some good life left in them, however I'll throw in my 2nd set of wheels and make it $1500 if you'd like them. These wheels are 15x6.5 and have Azenis on them and were going to be for autocrossing. They fit on my project car and if you don't want them and would like to save some money that'd be fine as well, either way.

My phone # is 502.330.2037 if you'd like to stop by to take a look and or drive it. If my phone goes straight to voicemail, make sure to leave me a message with your # because I get very little to no signal at work.
