I enjoy writing AUs, but this is the first gen. AU I've done :P Although with the reception it got, I'll probably be doing a lot more.

=/ I thought I'd ghosted over that part enough. The point of the background stories was to give everyone the chance to see how the boys ended up together; the events that led to them being put in the same home. Since we already know how Ryo and Pi ended up there, I didn't think there needed to be too much detail...
Oh well, I've already been toying with the idea of adding some spin offs to this; I suppose one might be a more detailed look into their history...

Awww, this was very sweet! I loved how you described each character and how they fit in the family dynamics. The little tidbits from real life also made it feel very genuine, including the "missing" members. And how adorable is Koyama in here?

Gen fics seem to bring in a different crowd than pairing fics. I kinda miss my tegomass pals, though :P

...Kei-chan's was kind of a last minute addition. I didn't come up with it until I was actually writing it, but I loved it too much to try again XD
Kei strikes me as the type to swipe the cast and then mail all the important stuff -- driver's license/ID, pictures, etc.-- back to the owner XD
