Optimistic Again
A decent amount of things have happened lately. Ill start with the beginning of last week.
Tuesday, my boss’ boss Ulf came up to me and told me that he is wanting to send someone to Sweden to work in the office over there, and not for a short period of time either. It would be for 3+ years. I didn’t know what to say at first, but I ended up telling him that I would have to think about it for a little while. He said that it’s fine, but he would need to know by mid September. If I do decide to go, I would leave in the beginning of November.
I started designing a tattoo and modified a bunch of times at work during the week. I finally got the exact design I want and got it tattooed on me on Friday at 1:30pm. It took a couple of hours to do, but it was definitely worth it. The tattoo artist (his name was Rich) was cool as hell. We started talkin about World of Warcraft a lot and other random things. He did a hell of a job on the tattoo too, definitely a great artist. After I got it done, I went back to my apartment for a lil while and then headed out for Greenville at 5:15pm. It took me almost 2 hours to get there because I hit a damn monsoon on the way there. I could barely even see 50’ in front of me, plus I could feel my car sliding a lil bit here and there. I eventually made it there and chilled with Brian. Him and his roommates threw a party that night which was fun. I won 3 games in a row in beer pong, plus a couple other games here and there. I got pretty drunk, and ended up passin out around 2am.
The next day, I chilled at Brian’s place til about 5pm, then left for Raleigh. I got to my parent’s place at about 7 and hung out with a bunch of my family. My Aunt Chris, Aunt Deidra, Uncle Greg, Aunt Jeanie and my cousins Christine, Brian, Sabrina and Zach were all there which was a ton of fun. I left there around 9pm n had to go to work to finish up some of the project I’ve been workin on. I got there around 9:30 and left at 1am. I talked to Kat around midnight ish and she asked if I wanted to come over. I said yeah and headed there after I left work and stayed there til around 6am. It was really good seeing her again and reminded me of how much I miss her. The feelings I had for her before are all still there. I was quiet a lot of the time I was there because I had mixed emotions. I was really happy I was there with her, yet I was still a lil sad because were not together. I’ve finally got rid of my depression tho which is great. She was reading out loud both of our horoscopes and while reading mine, she mentioned something about traveling which was really ironic. I ended up telling her about what my boss told me about moving to Sweden, which I don’t know how she felt about it, cause I didn’t really gauge her reaction. We watched some episodes of South Park and an episode of Stargate which was cool. I ended up falling asleep and woke up with my arm around her somehow. I got up and gathered my stuff and got ready to leave when she woke up. She gave me a big long hug which felt great. We pulled our heads away and I couldn’t help but look into her beautiful eyes and have the urge to kiss her. I leaned in to and we ended up kissing a few times. She went with me downstairs and we hugged again and I left. I got back to my parents place at 6:45am and talked with my Aunt Chris for about 30 minutes, then chilled in the living room when everyone woke up and talked with everyone before they all left. I passed out around 11:30am and woke up at 6pm and then headed home shortly after. I didn’t do much when I got home, I just played World of Warcraft til I went to sleep.
I keep thinking about the whole moving to Sweden thing today. It would be really cool to go, but there’s things here that make me want to stay like my friends and family, and the other big reason…
