Riddles in the dark.
So, today I started re-reading the Hobbit. I haven't read it since 8th grade. I forgot so much about it and I really regret only reading it the once. It really is one of the greatest fantasy books ever written. I forgot it was written in 1937 and the English were still prone to speaking very flowery language at that point in time, so the narrative meanders quite a bit. But it really adds to the story more than taking away because Tolkien tells it like he's watching it and describing it as it happens. Amazing, amazing book. Yay!
