Woo
So i went to Firebird raceway tonight, finally. There really weren't too many cars there by time i got there, i guess there were more earlier though. But for the one's that were there, it was fun watching them race. So they are having an open race day tomorrow as well, don't know if i will go down there tomorrow and race, although it would be best if i did, since i can get there when they open, because i get off work at 430 and they open at 6. I just don't know what the turnout will be for a saturday, most people probably only know of it being friday, so i'm thinking about passing tomorrow. Although, if i go tomorrow, and there aren't really too many people, that will give me opportunity to race more and also practice my stuff, as i'm sure i will need to. Also, i work next friday as well until 9, so i wouldn't make it down there until 945 or so, like tonight and therefore would miss most of the cars. But once again, less cars means more runs for me (and probably less embarrassment, cuz i expect to mess up a couple things my first few runs out there). But regardless, it was cool finally going there, i got to check out what cars do at the beginning, how the starting lights go and basically what all i need to do, which is what the point of this venture was. It's really kinda intimidating to go there and race, when i do, because everyone there knows what they are doing, and have been doing these races on a regular basis, unlike myself. I'm really hungry right now, just thought i'd share. Alright, guess that's all for now, more later.
