lauren!!! i hope everything works out for the best. you sound stressed...and you're not alone, haha. school has been mostly a horrific nightmare this semester for me. also, there's that ever-approaching "what exactly am i doing with my life?" question. yikes. this time of year always makes me think of your birthday, and our requisite winter-holiday shenanigans as kids :).
Thank you! Its so great to hear from you. I'm convinced school is meant to suck the life out of people and break them down. I was out in my back yard the other day staring up at the clear blue sky watching the turkey buzzards circling around and it instantly made me think of you. Remember how we used to try and chase them down with our bikes? The cooler weather reminds me of being on the phone with you while we were taking care of our tomato plants. Do you have winter break soon and what do you plan to do with it? I would love to see you.. I don't know that I have the gas money or that my car is sound enough to make the trip up to your place. My mom has a house right by the beach in melbourne.. maybe that'd be more of a fair halfway point to meet? And if you ever find yourself down this way, my door is always open. It would make my (and my mom's) year to see you!
