promises...promises
so i promised myself that i would try to update this thing more often. because i think its cool that i have had it for 7 years now- and can go back and look in on what almost seems like a "past life".
friday was spent hanging out with nick, and my new best friend, scott. oh and of course, andrew. aww, man-drew. ;) we started out at owl and thistle. a lot of nicks work peeps were there so it was fun to get to know them. i also got to see julie again. its so nice to meet/hang out with girls that are not annoying.
we set off in groups to accomplish some goals. nick went with matt (julie's bf) and this guy named greg- who i hear has some awesome guns. i am happy to hear that nick was playing with guns while he was drunk. smart choice? sure!
we all eventually (after like 4 phone calls) ended up at this place in beacon hill called accordingly "the beacon pub". this place was JUST sketchy enough that i did not want to stay. i was missing my favorite bartender & the food @ pike brewery. so i used my convincing skills to make nick & scott come with me. even though scott really wanted to sing holy diver @ karaoke. haha. i also had andrew on my side because he was already @ pike and waiting for us- he thought we ditched him! aww.
by the time we got to pike, nick and i just wanted to eat something. it was about 10 30 by this point and neither of us had eaten dinner & we turn in to two grumpy fat kids if we dont eat...
our favorite bartender had closed down her bar, so we had to order food from another one- and in our almost 2 years of dating i actually had to cut nick off from getting any more drinks- he was wasted! it was kind of hilarious.
highlights of the night include andrew showing us his mad pick up skills on the street, which include jumping in front of a girls and yelling HEY IM ANDREW!!! oh, and also yelling "I love child rape"- i think that one actually worked, except not.
i was so happy to be home after we left, that i just laid in bed for 15 mins with all my clothes on, even my coat. it was a good evening :)
saturday, i had a massage appointment & got to catch up on all the bear creek drama because my MT still works there. so that was really fun. it didnt hurt too bad- and i think my back will be OK shortly.
after that i went home and convinced nick to get up so we could go watch the seahawks game @ this bar by our house. we had some burgers (mm burgers for breakfast) and watched about half the game at the bar, then we came home because my dad, mom, and bro came over to watch the 2nd half. after all was said and done, we were pretty depressed about the whole game. nick and i took naps while watching the other playoff games in-between.
after the naps, we decided to go grab some good @ pf changs & then go see the movie JUNO. it was SO good. i absolutely loved it & reccomend everyone go see it. the only bummber part is that jason bateman turned out to be sort of a dick in the movie. but oh well.
sunday was spent hanging out with kate. we went to the mall & to sushi. it was so yummy. i am happy we have a good sushi place by us. after the mall she came over and we watched the cowboys/giants game. it was only semi- entertaining.
nick and i went food shopping and managed to make dinner all before 7 pm. i pretty much laid on the couch while he rubbed my feet- so that was nice and relaxing. i think i went to be at around 10, and i dont even remember nick coming to bed. guess i was pretty out of it.
well i guess i should quit ignoring work & get back to it.
