(no subject)
ahhh.. so close. I can taste finals being done. well.. sorta. Still have more work to do, but I'm not as pressed for time as I was this weekend. I have 8 page research paper and then an in-class essay that I need to study for. I read 615 pages this weekend--two and a half novels while still managing to get a lot of other stuff done as well.
I <3 the world cup. I'm not a huge fan of soccer, but to see the best in the world come to together is just exciting. On that note, it was dissapointing to watch the US get pummeled by the Czechs today, although not really surprising. And most of the sports announcers are the biggest douches in the world. I honestly don't know if they've ever called a soccer match before. And they need to stop talking about the US, yes I understand ABC/ESPN is an american company, but I don't need to hear 5 hours of post coverage talking over other games.
I found out my friend Alex is moving back to Orange County. He moved up here in Jan to live with his girlfriend (who's a student at UCSC) and he's moving back in a couple days. He initially was planning on staying til August but recently pushed it forward. He's only been her for a little while, but we've become really good friends in this short time. So it sucks. But, since his girlfriend will still be living up here he's gonna visit and I'll be able to see him when I go down to LA.
3 more days and summer is here!
