Coven Master

Jan 10, 2016 20:27

The position of coven master was not one that I expected to find myself in again, but here I am. The rooms are not nearly as full as they were on the Night Island, but our kind come and go from this place in the same way that they did then. Most are familiar to me, but the young ones who occasionally seek refuge here are unknown. Our numbers have ( Read more... )

Back to the roots, hmn?

The master role fits to you and I know thats your cup of blood. So Im glad to see you well.

Ah, I think its quite good when our vamps are not that many. So you can shine more, and the world has a few leeches less. Is healthy and cool thing for us all. ^.^

Give Danny my greetings. I envy him his Game Room.

I am not concerned with the lack of our kind in this world. I often eradicate the young ones myself, but not beneath this roof. It is all about survival of the fittest now, Sunstone.

I will pass along your greetings to Daniel. It can be difficult to tear his attention away from the giant screen at times, but he always listens eventually.

Yes, I know that very well, my love. Im sure you scared them to death. Was your vampire hunt always a success? Or could it be, that there was a young one who could escaped?

Was it not always the survival of the fittest?

Ah, I can understand him so well. :D I wonder what he is playing. I will ask him the next time we meet.

Hmm, is there any other news your Sunstone should know?

My hunt was always a success, but that, unfortunately, does not prevent new fledglings from coming into this world.

He's been playing Space Invaders for the past few nights. Sound proofing that room was a brilliant idea.

What makes you so sure? There is always a little ant who can escape. And the big lion don't notice it.

You don't like fledglings very much, hmn?

Space Invaders? The original Space Invaders from 1978?? Mein Gott, I played that as a child. I was not very good >.<

*laugh* A brilliant idea, hmn? Well, I would love this room. Probably I would even forget you. Probably.

I am always sure. I can sense the presence of a young one miles away. They cannot conceal themselves from me. It's impossible.

Yes, he is playing the original Space Invaders. He's obsessed with it. He might try to forget me when he becomes so involved in his games, but I will not allow it to last for long. I'm sure you can imagine the look on his face when I storm into the room and tear the controller from his hands.

Ha. Such confident.

And why have the young vamps not your sympathy?

God, I would kill you. >:-( Its hell when I play and someone take my controller, or even worse, turn off the game! That is hell for any player. So yes, I know how Danny looks like when you do that! But I also know that you know to comfort and tame him. >:D Of course, that wouldn´t work with me.

Space Invaders is not a game I can enjoy much. If I play a retro game it would be Tetris or Numblast. However, I know alot of people who love this kind of games.

I have never had sympathy for the very young. They are foolish and impulsive. They could easily pose a danger to us all.

As for Daniel, I wouldn't say that I know how to comfort and tame him. That is a task for Marius, not for me. If I take away the controller or turn off the gaming system, he is like some wild beast - screaming and cursing at me. Occasionally he will even take a swing at me, which I find highly amusing. Nothing will calm him down, but I do know how to stop his tantrum, of course.

I am not a fan of video games myself, but I will join in on the rare occasion.

Once you was a impulsive vampire as well. ...in fact, you can be still impulsive. XD

Oh of course is that highly amusing for you. Devil!

Stop his tantrum...yes, that is what I meant with "comfort him" Ha.
However, I would act in the same way as Daniel do. Danny, I feel with you!

And what kind of game would enjoy the vampire Armand for a little while? Back to the old Venice with Assassin's Creed? ...hmm...no, you have saw that in reality...
A racer then? ...No, you have a better car as any car in a game. A beat´n´up! ...Nope. You are much stronger then the characters...Oh dear...

A puzzle game, perhaps? Or a RPG?

I have been known to be a little impulsive, haven't I?

What I do to him is far from comforting, Sunstone. It usually just infuriates him even more, but I like the way that anger seems to heat his blood.

I don't find a challenge in any video game, but I play whatever he might be playing when he asks for my company. Last time it was race cars of some sort.

*laugh* Just a little. Marius have wonderful memories that's for sure.
Will he visit your little vampire heaven too?

*rawr* That all sounds to me that...in the end...you two enjoy your time very much. I think Danny need that rage.
That reminds me, will you ever continue "Elixir"?

XD Armand and a racer. Oh, I would love to see it.
Hmm...You would lose your cool if it would have been "Mario Kart".

Wonderful memories? I was an impulsive and disobedient child when I should have been grateful for all that he had given me. I deserved his anger. I cannot say whether or not he will visit this place, but I would prefer that he does not.

I don't know if I will ever continue that old tale. I am far too busy making new ones.

Should I suggest that he and I play this "Mario Kart"?

Well, good for you that you was that way. Not only that this passion keeps you alive, it made you different. Marius loved and love you -among other things-because of that. Otherwise you wouldn't be here.

Oh you hope not? Then I pray that he will visit us. Its been awile that I talked to him. But I read his words now and then. Ah, but he knows that.

I hope you have the muse for old stuff some night. It's one of my favorite stories after all.

No, no, no. Please, don't do that. A vampire shouldn´t play these kind of games. Play something different. Something difficult and stylish. Castlevania- Harmony of Despair would be a game I can take you serious. Or if it should be a racer then Extreme-G. Thats a old game but still super fast.

I am no longer comfortable in the company of my maker. Too much has passed between us which time can never heal.

I know it is one of your favorite stories, but I owe you another more recent tale, don't I? I promised to tell you of Daniel's punishment and some night very soon, I will.

Why shouldn't vampires play "Mario Kart"? You are making it quite tempting by begging me not to play it.

Such nonsense. Time can and will heal everything. Lets talk about the Marius problem in 1000 years again. Although I'm sure that by then you're married to him.

I hope he is well. I wonder what he will say to this topic.

Yes, that is true. And of course I haven't forgotten it.

Well, you are my vampire god, my role model, so I will give you that answer you would give me.
I want both stories! You are smart and skilled enough to write it. So, no big deal for you. I expect great news!
(And I would add a *blow a kiss*)

... its hard to adore soemone who plays that...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQaMkuFTmM8

...and...come on, thats so NOT COOL >.< If you wanna play it then only with a lot of corpses to your feet.

Married to him? Hah! Vampires don't get married, Sunstone. With the exception of Lestat, of course.

I am skilled enough to write several pieces at once, but that's not the way I do things. I like to focus all of my attention on one thing at a time. Too many can be a distraction.

Well, that looks... different. Do I get to play the female character in the pink car with wings?
