Hi.
I've had different phases of my musical life through the years. Most phases are now on myspace,
a couple are not. But I'm going to use this entry to list them all if anyone cares to check it out.
1. "The Flush Puppies" This was my first attempt at a actual band, it consisted of my best friend at the time Joe Gabiger and myself, Joe handled most of the 6 string work, while I handled the bass and keyboards, we split vocals pretty much 50/50. Most of our songs weren't taken very seriously, but we still had a lot of fun while learning our instruments. We recorded around 15 tracks and one homemade camcorder video in 2 or 3 years. Like most high school friendships, life gradually took us each our seperate ways. We still cross pathes every now and then.

Singer Seufert, guitarist Sergott and Drummer Benedict were in a band called "Blue Harvest" while my good friend Jake and I were trying to get some sort of acoustic gig going we were calling "Blue Finger". Well Blue Harvest turned into Shade and needed a bass player, so they asked Jake. Jake asked if I could come in a jam with them for a practice, they said yes, and I did. I pretty much joined there and then. Before we were really in Shade, Jake and I wrote and recorded a sappy love song called "All I need" which we would later bring to Shade and re-record on two different occasions, it's still one of my favorite songs to the day. Anyways, Shade dove into the local music scene, playing every bar in Utica (like the legendary Captain Trips), making many apperances at St.John Fisher college in Rochester. We had a live interview and acoustic set on 94 K-rock. And it was with Shade that I had my first real studio experience when we recorded our 1st and only cd "Identity Crisis". Man that was an experience...a expensive one at that. Our last show was Saranac Thursday, there were a thousand people there, so it was a great show to go out on, good byes are bittersweet but sometimes things run their course and you have to accept that. We all remain in touch and will always have that bond, except for Sergott who decided he would rather flee the state than to pay his share of the making of Identity Crisis. Every once in a while we mention getting back together to jam, I think it'll happen some day, at least I hope.

3. "Brian Premo" Well when Shade went their seperate ways I wasn't ready to hang up my guitar, so I started to really focus on the singer/songwriter thing. My first solo show was a benefit event for my brother Scott, I dread the thought of what I sounded like. Then I started doing open mic nights at a local bar Mr.McGills, I built up a set, and my confidence then Joe Sweet found me. Joe was a guiding light, he took me under his wing and pushed me to do as many shows as he could get me. I will ALWAYS be extremely thankful and grateful for what he's done for me. I've been gaining momentum lately and I have no intention of stopping, I have done more solo shows in 2008 than I have in all my previous gigs of my life (band or otherwise) combined. I am officially starting my first ever professionally produced solo cd January 10 2009, now I'm just trying to narrow down the songs I want to use and the approach I'm going to take while recording them. I am very excited. No matter what musical projects come my way, I will always be doing writing and performing solo work.

"Searching For More" Kind of like Shade SFM started out as 3 different musical entities, Korey our was in a band called Falter (and 13 steps to Nowhere who had a show with Shade at 'Nuthin Fancy' many years ago) Rich Martina and Shawn Hardish were in a band called "Blurd Vision", and Shawn and I were working on a unnamed acoustic project. Falter and BV broke up to make SFM, shortly after that their bass player vanished and since I was jamming with Shawn alot he asked me if I would be interested, so I said yes and that was that. The guys from Shade and SFM were complete opposites, complete opposite styles and personalities, Shade was very down to earth bring home to mama types, who wrote pop-rock-punk. SFM are abrasive, loud, clinically insane guys that I'm afraid to be around for long amounts of time. Don't get me wrong, I love them like brothers, but they definitely keep things interesting. The song writing style of SFM is dark, mean, vulgar. It's like the ying my to my acoustic yang. But when we are on stage I have never felt energy like I do with them. A few months back we recorded our demo and have been talking with Sevendust about getting some sort of label deal worked out. We don't really have a official word on anything yet, but there is definitely talk going on. My concern with SFM is that we have such explosive elements I'm hoping we get to where we need to be before we self destruct. Whatever happens with them, it's been one hell of a ride.

While Dracula has a huge following locally, his shows have been done with mostly sound files, he does a very sexually dirty driven electro/techno/dance style. Recently he's added live guitar and has aquired me to record some bass tracks for his upcoming album. He is taking a break from live shows now to finish the cd and to work a live band into his show, I am looking forward to this. All I can think of is Ziggy Stardust meets Marilyn Manson. This is some explicit fun that I have never experienced before in my life.

http://www.myspace.com/draculatron Well there you have it, that's my musical past present and future in a nutshell. I've left out alot of other musical activities I had, like recording with my brother Jason. Small projects with Jeff, Dez, Jen, Danielle.
This is just the beginning.
