la la la la.. at work
I haven't had a chance to post in the past few days, I've just been way too busy. Yesterday was ROUGH.. I was SO tired and to make matters worse, I was the only person in the office all day, so I really had nothing to do, and no one to talk to, causing me to doze off every few minutes... BUT, all is well now, and despite the fact that I didn't go to bed until close to 2:30 last night, I woke up 1/2 hour BEFORE my alarm went off today, feeling refreshed and energized.
Yeah, so I almost walked out of Blockbuster last night- I was just so fed up with my store manager and his lack of organization, etc. I left Service EARLY yesterday for our managers meeting that takes place every monday, and when I get there, he goes "oh, by the way, it's cancelled, but you can start working early if you want" I'm like, okay, i left my other job early so I could be at this stupid meeting, and now we're not even having it? Oh NO YOU DIDN'T. haha... stupid asshole. But, I stayed there, and worked out my frustrations by re-working the entire BSI section (older movies).
I got home from work around 12:30 and Derrick called me, and we were on the phone until just after 2am... I dont think we've ever talked that long on the phone, infact I know we haven't. The only person I can have 2 hour conversations with is Steph, and even that's pushing it. But, it was a great conversation, we talked about all the different things we're both feeling, about life, relationships, ourselves, eachother, etc. I went to bed feeling a lot better about things, which definately helped me sleep.
"You're like my best boy but with titties" -Derrick.. haha that made me laugh.
I really don't have much else to say, oh- tomorrow night is the usual Wednesday night Party In The Plaza downtown, and we're (Service Liquor) having a Jack Daniels party at Downtown Manhattans, so I'm going to go help out, hand out tshirt, and oh yeah, drink for free! I get to put all of my drinks on the company tab when I go out for any events that we're hosting- it's DEFINATELY fabulous. Ready? I'll take 4 of everything. I think I'll wear my cute Stoli shirt, who knows... anyway, I should really get back to work
