Seunghyun watches as their leader changes, his smile coming a lot less frequently , his laughter even more rare. He watches as his friend becomes a mess. One day he simply shows up with bleached blond hair and a pale complexion to match He seemed distant and cold, as if he wasn't even there anymore. It was as if there was someone else living in the skin that goes by the name of 'G-Dragon'.

Youngbae observes as his best friend grows more distant and less bright. He observes and it frustrates him because that's all he CAN do. His own best friend wouldn't allow his help. And so he watches as the GD he knew morphed into one that was of a complete stranger.

Seungri look, but that's all he does. He looks at his leader and friend become quiet and secluded, his usual spark and charisma dimming to the point of nonexistence. He looks as their beloved leader goes clubbing late at night, drinking until dawn and still, GD becomes that of a foreigner in their own home.

They all watch. They all observe. They all look as their leader and close companion become an alien to their own eyes.

Seunghyun watches Jiyong,-no, it's G-Dragon now, there is no longer a person named 'Jiyong' around here. He watches as their leader dissappears late into the night, at times returning either an hour later or the next morning at the crack of dawn. But whenever he does come home, he always reeked of alcohol and smoke and sweat.
Youngbae observes as the bright smile that once came so naturally on the face of his best friend grew more dull and became more forced, to the point where he no longer smiled, only traces of laugh lines on his face that are easily covered by layers of foundation.
Seungri looks as the media searches for ways to bring him down from his high position on that pedestal that he doesn't even want to be placed upon. He watches as the public look for ways to poke holes through his armor made of iron and steel, for a way to bring him down from his high. And Seungri looks, he looks as the public and their once devoted fans turn their back to him, believing the lies that the media spout out and overly hype about.
They all simply observe because that's all they are capable of doing. They're at a loss as to what to do to be able to help out their companion and leader, their friend and comrade. Because they've attempted, but they've never succeeded.
With Daesung recovering from the car crash, GD seems to add to their worries. So they do the only thing that they know how to at this point,
Seunghyun watches.
Youngbae observes.
Seungri looks.
Daesung? He sleeps, oblivious.
Because the higher up you are, all the more they want to bring you down.
