Dear Miss Froggy,

A letter! I do not often receive letters, you'll have to forgive my excitement. Perhaps next-time you would be so kind to include a likeness? I should like to place it in my sea-chest and gaze upon it each night before I fall asleep. On to your question - I do tend towards the verbose, my apologies.

I have found that the best course of action is to render unto Ceasar if you must, and hide in a convenient barrel or sail-locker whilst off duty. If you are lucky, a tall, dashing stranger will appear out of no where to rescue you.

Yrs,

Midshipman Archie Kennedy

My Dear Miss Froggy,

It has come to my attention that my letter never reached you. I shudder to think of you waiting for a reply all these years; do forgive me. Our post is not exactly reliable while at sea. It is perhaps better off, as my circumstances have changed and I hope my answer to you will be more helpful.

I find myself in a similar situation daily. My particular method of solving this problem might be a tad unconventional, as I generally turn the tide on him during, shall we say, more intimate moments. Nothing removes the stain of hubris like a good tickle-fight.

If unable to *saucy grin* topple your opponent with a night raid, best be straight forward. A tyrant is no man's Friend - For how can tyrants safely govern home,
Unless abroad they purchase great alliance?

Yrs-

Lieutenant Archie Kennedy
