i'm so proud of our drumline..
we had finals today, and we played an OK show, i mean, we could have done MUCH better, but we were in a freaking huge room, with a freaking tall roof, so the sound was dead, i practically couldnt hear the chick next to me. but, overall, it was a little over satisfactory to me.
so thinking i hope we get in the top 6 (out of 13)... we ended up getting:
1. 5th Place
2. Crowd Choice
3. Our drumline instructor got instructor of the year award...serves him right because he's amazing and devotes every waking minute to drumline.
i'm so proud of everyone.
our drumline is unique because everyone gets along with eachother. we all come from different "social ranking"..but we have this bond that is unbreakable. thats why we do so well. its the attitude over the performance.
-after we got back, we went to perkins, and then a few people came over and watched harry potter. funnnnn.
