Good to be home.

I feel like it took us two days to skid to a screeching halt after our vacation. When we got home we went to turn on the computer and it wouldn't boot, we called Shaun's parents and found out Cheryl fell through the deck and broke her ankle and elbow, we got our water bill and know we have a leak somewhere but haven't found it yet, and somehow it took 2 full days of me running around to get us caught up to present as far as putting our travel stuff away and taking care of little details like soccer team stuff.

That's right. Shaun is coaching a bunch of 4 year olds this year for the soccer league. *snicker* I think its hilarious.

The rest of our trip was just as awesome as the first part. After camping (caverns and hedge maze) we had a down day and then went to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Micah got to see his Dinosaur bones. Afterwords we met Lezlie for dinner and then went to the Iwo Jima Memorial and saw the Marine Corps do their marching band/Riffle Twirling thingy. It was cool.

On the way home at one of the airports there was 3 guys who played their cellos while waiting for their plane in our terminal. They were awesome. Break of Reality... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5DjEC7YNqc&feature=related

In other news, we pickled a bunch of stuff last night... the short term pickling (3 months) not canned. We shall see, I am not sure I am a fan yet. Looks a bit, well, not so appetizing.
