"you just think that because you're from oregon"
i hear this at least two to three time a day, and partially that i my fault because i'll get into some disagreement with someone and all they can come up with is the above quote. at which point i come back with the equally lame: "thank GOD i'm from oregon!" this is lame, (why can't they understand that because i'm from oregon i know everything, and they know nothing? i just want all the credit for all the knowledge, and all the credit for ALWAYS being right. i don't think this is too much to ask. they are from texas and i'm from oregon, i am always right.) seriously though, i wish i could at least get the understanding from them that yes, i do research my facts and have very solid reasoning behind all of my opinions, politically, or otherwise. they're the worst about politics, they're so blind its sickening. it's not that they can't have their own opinion, it's that it's not theirs, they don't actually trouble themselves to figure things out on their own, they overly trust the gov't and everyone in power. sheep, blind-blind, sheep.
