So im listening to Pink Floyd - The wall, and its reminding me of a skate video i watched when i was a kid, and i forgot how much i enjoy this record. I have the film on dvd, the wall, and its awesome. I got the new allegiance, black dahlia murder and embrace today. pretty siked on the three. Basically anything allegiance does is going to be solid gold and embrace today - we are the enemy sounds ok, ive only got through listening to a couple of tracks. Black Dahlia murder on the other hand, the high vocals arent as pure as there previous recording, the guitars are more melodic (which isnt a bad thing) and its not really as fast. Still a pretty decent recording, sticking to there sound. Im keen on new go it alone, new her nightmare, i wanna hear new bane and i downloaded a song from this band ive wanted to hear for a while, behemoth - demigod, all there artwork is super evil and its pretty decent sounding metal too. American Nightmare - "The days are like knives, and the knives are so sharp", makes more sense sometimes than i care to understand. Huge melbourne crew went up to Sydney last weekend for Hardcore05, if your interested there is a blog i wrote on myspace about it..www.myspace.com/blackmambaxxx. Other than that, shit is fuckin boring. I was in the warehouse the other day looking for a cheap tv cabinet for my room, and i saw in some shit bargain bin as i was waiting in line to get a price check on something, i noticed a video. "Hitler, the rise of evil" with Robert Carlyle. I remember seeing it on tv aaaaages ago, so i bought it for five bucks. This is a fucking brilliant film seriously, it basically follows him through his life, really interesting. Tough day if you were a nazi, but interesting nonetheless. Oh yeh, the guys from Washed Up Records are putting on an annual show in melbourne "SIKE YOUR MIND" on the 17th of July, its the second of its kind and sure to be as much of a success as the last one was, with such a decent fucking lineup. Previous to this, there is a "SIKE YOUR MIND - pre-show" the night before at the arthouse, ive posted the flyers so check it out.
