The best wedding I ever went to was Shaun and Kristen's last year.
I'm pretty sure I'm thinking about it because I'm listening to Shout which is DEFINITELY the ultimate wedding song.
It was so simple though. It was in a big beautiful backyard (Kristen's grandma's!), and they had plastic tables and chairs set up for everyone, and everyone brought food. It was in November so it wasn't hot or gross. Kristen told everyone (even the bridesmaids) to wear what they like (within reason). I wore a little sundress and it was so comfortable.
The ceremony was beautiful! They were married by the lake, and it was at that perfect early evening time, and EVERYONE saw that a shooting star went by during it! WAH how nice!
So many people came! There had to be like 200 people there!
AND THE PARTY WAS FREAKIN' FUN.
It was all lit up by tiki torches and a porch light. There was like a big thing of concrete, like an open patio that everyone could dance on..and all the songs were perfect. They were sooo so so fun and upbeat and classic. and Josh and I danced so hard with whoever we could get our hands on. Dancing like I never ever even have before! We didn't let any of our friends sit down! It was crazy!
I just feel like even the people that didn't like each other loved each other that night! It was literally perfect. And I've seen a lot of weddings. Good vibes all around.
I think If I could relive any night of my life, that might be it.
