here's the skinny.
i've been living in brooklyn for a year now, and man have i learned alot about myself.
i was working for this natural foods store for awhile, but then got in an arguing match with my manager then, split/got fired. haha...
one day while looking on craigs list for a job, i came across an ad for a job with www.thetruth.com...i filled out the application online and didn't think twice about it. two or so days later i got a phone call from them telling me i had made it to the next level. what i was basically applying for was to be able to tour with the truth on the Warped Tour. so anyhow, i had my face to face interview with someone from the truth, and never ever thought i'd get a callback, considering how many people applied for the position. low and behold, i got a call that night telling me to return to the Soho Grand Hotel for the final interview, which was all about interaction with others, and leadership skills. it was a long crazy day that made me extremely stressed to know the result of. that night i was supposed to receive a phone call from the truth. i finally got the call...extrememly nervous to know the result, i was told to "get a good nights sleep because i had a long week of training" :) i had made it! out of 700 applicants i was one of the 11 chosen. it was such an amazing feeling and made me very proud of myself.
unfortunately, me being the irresponsible person that i am...not knowing that i have a blemish on my record from traffic court bullshit, wasn't able to go. i'm still on their contact list for next year warped tour and other events that the truth sponsers...but i wasn't able to meet any deadlines for this year.
the next morning after hearing the bad news from the truth, i received a phone call from this salon that i had applied at while i was working at the natural foods store...they wanted me to work for them. it was like one door closed, and another opened. it couldn't have come at a better time.
so since then, which has been about 3 and a half weeks, i've been working for them.

it's pretty awesome, the people are sweet and the customers spend alot of money, it's retarded.
tommy and i are good. we are still engaged and looking at October of 2006 for the wedding date. we're still not sure where the wedding will be...but it'll be somewhere.
other than all of this, nothing else has changed. i still think most of the people i met in louisville suck ass, but there are still some great people there.
i hope everyone worth a damn is doing well. let me know how you guys are.
