six] things that 2006 taught you;
1) settling for someone wonderful, is still settling.
2) the ones you want to stop talking to most are always the ones that will keep talking to you
3) you, me and everyone we hate is more fun and apt then ever before
4) that Berlin is amazing.
5) The EL is cooler in idea then than in practice
6) Richmond, VA is for lovers (or rather for day trips, concerts etc)
[six] new people you've met or become close with in 2006;
1) c,dawgz aka Carmax aka Carmen - who has had the co-starring role in you, me and everyone we hate for a few months now. its one of those wierd bonds that makes even the most skeptical (myself included) believe in star-crossed friendships.
2) Ethan aka E aka E-Moze - Even though we live together with Alec (who is meant to be both of our's bff), we ended up finding comfort with each other on long walks after a party or after a particularly stressful day. those hours spent circling St.Mary's 10 times (maybe more) over I wouldn't trade for anything. This year we went to Berlin together, watched each other have crushes (and watched those fade and new ones come about). and most reccently, stared awe-struck at the stars of dischord at the Black Cat, while our two other BFFs from back home flirted horribly.
3) Nick from Utah, played a very important role in my Spring time. he made me believe that a college relationship could work for me. made me believe that i was beautiful still. and of course the fact that he was beautiful didn't hurt either.
4) Riley - met him at a movie bonnie "prince" billy was in (guatamalaen handshake) at the Maryland Film Festival, and in a way the relationship was as quirky and lasted only a little longer then the film. provided me with an oddly content feeling that comes with summer romance. taught me all about baltimore and how to get around, and showed me cool places to go, which i can now pay forward.
5) Nathan. a decent muse. filled a very important gap as well. kept me on my toes. let me feel sexy at times when i needed it most. helped me christen the showers of suite 17. broke my booze cruise cherry (which was honestly one of my fav. nights of 07).
6) Jen PAYNE!!! - of course, we get closer every day, with every crazy funny (sometimes drunk) moment.
[six] things you want to do in 2007;
1) be content with just being where I am.
2) make a new friend that has BFF potential
3) not botch my minor role in the Vagina Monologues
4) stay on the Dean’s List
5) find a few new bands to like
6) see Europe, (even beyond Hungary and Poland)
[six] personally significant events of 2006;

5) getting a little bit sexier (ie : loosing weight)
6) Surviving life in Suite 17, learning I am good at co-existence (more so then some people I might add)
[six] things you don't want to do in 2007;
1) study so much I forget to have a good time
2) allow circumstances to control my ability to drive
3) loose contact with aquaintences who I actually really enjoy talking to
4) put less then 100 % effort into my school work
5) judge a person from gossip rather than actually meeting them
6) become overwhelmed
