who we are now, we will always be.

on Friday, there was a quick trip down south and a nap in a warm room, followed by her second crab fest. a cut from a misplaced claw is slowly healing still on her index finger.

on Saturday, there was early morning rising. easy unpacking, an apparent lack of possesions which would negatively echo out in the next few days. Then there was singing of Silver Jews tunes and a fishing trip which turned into a backwoods tour of St.Mary's finest fishing shops and marinas. No actual fishing ever went down. Then instead of a party , there was a bunch of tired teens watching The Omen.

on Sunday there was much of the same. Music blasting from every room and book buying. I finished reading "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and loved every word of it. At night there was one shot of cheap rum for a few people, and then early to bed.

on Monday, the start of classes. Democratic Political Thought, the Professor looks like a hot verison of Peter Brady (Christopher Knight). The class is basically the sailing team and their groupies. German class is very small, but has all good people in it, easy when the questions aren't being asked of you, hard when they are. The T.A.. is Katja and she seems very chill. Then there was work and phone calls home.

on Tuesday there was the other classes. Journalism, the teacher seems a bit type-A, but I am getting more and more type-a everyday. then European Studies (which I decided to add) which the only person at St.Mary's who seems to find my personality objectionable, decides to sit down right next to me and to shoot me awful looks, but the class is what I am really REALLY interested in (Contemporary Europe), so its worth being leered at. Then there was African-American Expression, which is an amazing class, its a packed classroom and loud and fun. We were given work right away in every class, but more in Af. American Expression, I like it that way, just getting thrown into it. Then there was more Daily Grind, I got to teach somebody how to make coffee (ie: lattes), which I didn't even imagine doing last year. There was a bit of an odd run in with a certain person and I was asked about Nick. I answered honestly, I hadn't talked to him, no, and yes by my own choice. Also ran into Brooks of the radio station in the laundry room, our interludes are usually very awkward, however this one was perfectly natural and really got me pumped for clubs and the radio station in particular. Went for coffee with the boys, its so interesting to listen to what they say around me, there is NO censorship at all, and that's the way I like it. I want Ethan and Alec to be Ethan and Alec, not some watered down version.

and that's really it so far. more later.
