"Between skin and skin there is only light"- The Magus

If I could make love to The Magus, I would. I want to spoon it when I go to bed. I seem to always fall in love in the Summer, I guess this Summer's true love is books, more specifically this one. I want to devour it and savour it at the same time, so I have told myself to read 50 pages (no more no less) a night. So I won't finish it for two weeks or so. I highly recommend picking up a copy, but be prepared to carry it around like a fashion accessory and want to be reading it, even when you're hanging out with your friends.

I went swimming with Nikki today at Rollingwood. They completely changed it, it is very nice now. Then went to lunch at the Caton, had some foul cajun chicken bits, but a HEAVENLY piece of white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. Then it was a shower and off to work. I had a rather frank and interesting conversation with my Dad on the ride up about male sexuality (ie: why his friend was soo embarassed to talk about his sex life and his other friend was an open (very pornographic) book). It was a theme that was to be repeated through out the work day or evening as I should say. A very attractive securtiy guard (even hott in a bright yellow spandex shirt) talked to me, and at the register asked for my name, I gave it to him and he introduced himself as Ronnie and said he would see me around. He bought a book on learning sign language...what an interesting fellow. After work I bought a copy of Blue Velvet on dvd (i've never seen it before). And spent my night reading The Magus .
