Reading this has given me tons more to worry about.... But, don't they have, like, socket covers or something, so the kiddos can't jam fingers and knives or whatever into them?

Yeah, they do. But I'm still worried one might be left uncovered after use. And there are table corners and doorframes and...she's got the speed down but direction and depth perception are still very much trial and error. >>; Babies are a huge worry. But they're so bloody adorable they make up for it.

...that's it. I'm going to wrap my sister's lof in cotton batting and bubble wrap before December.

LOTS of bubble wrap. With extra on anything that even looks like it might be a hard edge or corner.

Or just sand off the corners of things.

Kids are gonna hurt themselves whether you like it or not! Can't keep them in a bubble otherwise they'll never be able to deal with anything the world has to offer!
