The movie sucked, it was horrible. I had a good audience as well, they laughed at all the crappy, cheesey lines. And I give Georgia a high-five for telling everyone to shut up.

No, that's not true at all. There were some awkward parts in De-lovely and no one really cared about the characters. But in Spider-man no one cared about the characters because the script was so bad they couldn't make characters out of what they were given. It was contrived, and the characters (as thin as they were) had no motivation for any of their actions. The lines were so horrible I laughed at several of the serious parts in the movie, and the actors weren't very good at all. So you see, De-lovely might not have been great, but it was a hell of a lot better than Spider-man.
And what aspects of Spider-man were better than De-lovely?

I'm fine with action movies, I actually like the first Spider-man, but this one was just so stupid.
And I agree that De-lovely was weak in that it didn't focus on the interesting part of his life, and that they didn't have enough songs, but at least you weren't sitting there thinking, I can't believe that they are actually saying this, it's so stupid.
