This is the most fantastic thing i have ever seen.
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?
Simply, no. Sound is a mental image created by the brain in response to vibrating molecules. Similarly, there can be no pitch without a human or animal present. A suitable measuring device can register the frequency made by the falling tree, but it truly isnt a pitch unless, and until, it is heard.

OK so, this is a REALLY good book, it seriously changes your perception, not only for music itself, but for the whole world around you. Definatly pick it up.
on another note,I took this morning off, which is also fantastic. i took two naps hahaha, i guess i WAS tired. AND i dont have to do my model until next tuesday, THANK GOD. On a bad note, I think tammy might be all booked up tommorrow, and i really hope not, cuz that means she cant cut my hair. and that would be extremely disapointing, ive really been looking foward to this, you know, since AUGUST. I dont know why i just dont have brandon do it, he usually does, i guess i just dont feel like making a trip all the way out to the city. i dunno.
I am excited for tommorrow cuz im going to albanyyy. And thats also another reason why i was looking forward to getting my hair done, im tired of always looking like a frump. Especially in front of evan.
